Permanent Makeup FAQs
Does permanent makeup hurt?
Your comfort is our priority. Most clients describe the sensation as very minimal and much easier than expected. A professional topical numbing is applied before and throughout your service to ensure a relaxed, comfortable experience.
How long does permanent makeup last?
Permanent makeup is designed to be long-lasting, but not truly permanent. Results typically last 1–3 years before a boost of color is needed, depending on your skin type, lifestyle, and skincare routine. To achieve the most beautiful and balanced result, a perfecting touch-up appointment is required 8 weeks after your initial session.
What is the healing process like?
Healing is gentle and straightforward. You may experience light flaking and temporary deepening of color during the first few days. Brows will soften and settle into their true shade within 8 weeks, revealing your final, natural-looking results. Detailed aftercare instructions are provided to support optimal healing.
Is permanent makeup safe?
Yes. When performed by a certified and experienced artist, permanent makeup is a very safe and controlled cosmetic procedure. We use high-quality pigments, sterile single-use tools, and follow strict sanitation protocols to ensure the highest standards of safety and care.
Who is a good candidate for permanent makeup?
Permanent makeup is ideal for anyone who wants to enhance their natural features, save time in their daily routine, or correct sparse, uneven, or faded brows. It is especially beneficial for busy professionals, active lifestyles, and those with makeup sensitivities or hair loss.
A consultation is required to ensure PMU is the right choice for your skin type and goals.
How should I prepare for my appointment?
To ensure the best results, please avoid alcohol, caffeine, blood thinners (unless prescribed), and retinol or exfoliating products for at least 24–48 hours before your appointment.
